My clients are deeply relational.
I work best with clients who care so deeply about their relationships that they’re left feeling burnt out, lonely, resentful, and guilty. I help my clients shift from always orienting themselves to others' needs and perspectives to their own, without abandoning their empathic nature for their partner, friend, and family member. Throughout the course of therapy, my clients find that they can:
Know and ask for what they need and want clearly and confidently
Keep asking caring questions to others and do the same for themselves
Stay the course in holding to the healthy boundaries they’ve chosen and know they can be safe in the relationships they’re in
My clients are also couples who are both motivated to work through a stuck point, chartering an unfamiliar milestone, or address a reoccurring pattern. They are curious about their own blindspots, shadows, and intergenerational stories.
Therapy with me is to know how to cue yourself to places where you're working too hard and give permission to the hidden parts of you to be recognized, affirmed, and empowered. Both by yourself and your partner.
I've been in therapy myself and know it is transformative, challenging, and vulnerable. It is a commitment to invest in yourself and sustainably shift out of the old patterns, spirals, and reactions.
Special welcome to creatives, entrepreneurs, and the neurodivergent person.
