Clinical Supervisor at Therapy on Fig

As our associate team continues to grow, we are expanding our Clinical Supervisor team.

Therapy on Fig is a boutique, depth-oriented, identity-affirming group practice rooted in Internal Family Systems (IFS), IFIO, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and attachment and relational-based work. We are seeking a 2+ years post licensure LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC to join us as a Clinical Supervisor supporting associate therapists.

Your Role

This role is designed for seasoned clinicians who experience supervision as relational leadership, guiding associates with steadiness, discernment, and warmth within a thoughtfully structured environment.

Job responsibilities and requirements

  • Trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS). Additional training, such as Intimacy From the Inside Out (IFIO), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and EMDR training, is a plus!

  • Identity-affirming, well-versed in working with neurodivergent and highly sensitive folx, and able to adapt and weave various therapeutic approaches through the IFS lens.

  • Knowledgeable about licensing regulations, keeping up to date with legal and ethical regulations within the industry

  • At least 2 years post-licensure, have completed or are open to completing required supervision CEUs within an agreed timeline, and are responsible for each renewal cycle.

  • Open and able to build up your supervisory caseload from 1 associate to 4 associate therapists. Depending on how quickly associates can fill their caseloads, reaching four associates can take up to 1 year.

  • Meet with the clinical director and support associates outside supervision hours, as needed.

Our Associate Therapists

Our associates are conscientious, self-reflective therapists aligned with relational, non-pathologizing values. They care about working in a supportive, ethical, growth-minded group practice. They are intuitive self-starters who understand the importance of working with a good fit supervisor. Supervision here is not crisis management or people management, but a refinement and stewardship of the therapeutic work within a stable practice structure.

Our Model

At Therapy on Fig, associates are not responsible for marketing themselves and building their own caseloads; therefore, supervisors are not responsible for filling associate caseloads or managing operations. At ToF, we provide:

  • Practice-managed referral flow

  • Administrative and billing support

  • Structured systems that are continuously adaptive to new regulations, resources, and the needs of the team

  • A collaborative consultation culture

Ideal Candidate

You are:

  • A natural teacher who can teach a modality well. They can demonstrate, break down, and provide specific interventions to associates so they can translate and practice them with each of their clients. They are also knowledgeable about the legal and ethical responsibilities of supervision

  • Growth-minded for themselves and their associates, invested in deepening and expanding associates' self-awareness, thus fostering confidence and capacity to provide their most authentic offerings for their clients.

  • Community-oriented - thoughtful about fostering a supportive and safe work and group culture where there's room for creativity, collaboration, and mutual support amongst team members. Able to model active contribution to the team and the therapist's growth individually and with each other.

This role tends to resonate with clinicians who maintain established practices of their own and value contributing within an intentional clinical community without taking on the operational demands of running a supervision business.

Compensation

As a Clinical Supervisor joining our team, you'll have the opportunity to provide consistent, high-quality supervision for associate therapists, while diversifying your therapeutic offerings. The clinical supervisor will supervise up to four associates, providing up to four hours of face-to-face supervision split into two triadic supervisions per week. Established supervisors can expect to earn $1,500–$3,000 per month, depending on supervision hours and additional consultation support, and annual earnings up to $40,800, based on 4-6 hours per week (4 face-to-face and 2 admin hours).

Current hourly structure:

  • $120 per hour supervising two associates

  • $145 per hour supervising three associates

  • $190 per hour supervising four associates

  • $95 per hour supervising one associate (short onboarding phase)

  • $20 per hour for additional consultation or documentation review (1–2 hours/week anticipated)

Because supervision assignments grow alongside associate cohorts and caseload development, we review structure and expectations together during the interview process to ensure clarity and mutual fit.

Additional Details

  • Supervisions are conducted virtually

  • Supervisors must be willing to be paneled under Therapy on Fig’s group insurance contracts (Cigna and Aetna). Credentialing is handled by the practice, and paneling under the group EIN does not require participation in these panels within your own private practice.

  • We prioritize long-term consistency; supervisors ideally envision a minimum three-year commitment.
